With superpowers, What can you do?

Walking Through Walls/Phasing:

Now This is an interesting Concept cause it Is both a base ability and an off shoot ability.

Not sure if I have Mentioned this before but a base ability is one that other ability’s are derived from.

For instance If you were a real life Ted Sprague You’d have mastery of Fire, heat, EMP’s and radiation.

Now If someone has the ability to control fire that would be an off shoot from The Nuking power.

Now With that said on to Phasing(walking through walls).

Now There are two schools of thought on how this would work/look.

One: Is your Molecules Come apart and pass between the space between other molecules.

Now this would mean you have a powerful mastery over You own body and a potential side effect of this is a slight healing ability, You could cause the broken Cells to reunite effectively closing your wounds. Now I Do not know if this would a temporarily fix or permanent one however it could make you pretty good in a fight!

Two: The Idea that your molecules Don’t shift you make the object you want to pass through shift and part to allow you to pass through.

Now This idea of phasing open’s up a lot of possibility’s.

This is not mere mastery of One’s own Molecules You’d be able to effect the Raw Building block’s of other object’s.

Now this could Mimic all sort of other ability’s and I’m even gonna get biblical here.

If you could Effect Molecules, Atoms, and other pieces of Existence You could Heal Others making the cell’s reconnect(as said before not sure if this would be permanent or temporary) , You could tell the surface tension of water to become stronger So you could walk on it, or maybe tell your own molecules to become less dense to allow floatation .

Then there is the real cool Side effect , If you knew how the Molecules/atoms/everything else Worked

You could pull the Water to wine & the Doubling the Fish/ Bread Trick, It would simply(yeah simply…) be a matter of pulling the right elements out of the air and arranging them in the same order that the real stuff is in.

So Yes , Jesus Could walk through wall’s!lol

And lastly You could destroy Living things by pulling out the right Jenga Blocks.

And Flight and Slight Weather Manipulation would likely be possible.

Now I said Earlier that this weird cause it is a base ability and also could be a off shoot ability.

Now with that said it might not be the ability to talk to and control The Lego’s of existence but actually a micro form of Telekinesis where you simply cause the wall, car, or what have you , you may simply be pulling the object apart on a microscopic level and then reconnecting them.

Now as always I will likely revisit this in the future But for Now this is all.

Telekinesis The Master Power:

Telekinesis Is The Master OF side-effect Ability’s for many Reasons.

Chief among them Is If You had the ability to move Every thing No matter how Small or Large You could Do most anything.

First Off if size didn’t matter You could Fly, now You couldn’t Go Past The speed of sound because of the Death Thing, But You could Still Get up some speed with out death, also There is an added possibility of being able to project a force field like shield to Protect your self from Obstetricals .

Now That’s not the only reason you’d have a lot of ability’s , If you could effect Even Particles of Light

You Could also Gain Invisibility , Now On that note you’d have keep your eyes slightly visible Otherwise you’d be blind Due to the light not being able to reflect off of your eye’s(that’s how we are able to see).

Now On The subject of Affecting Particles and other Microscopic Cells You Can Cut People (Like Sylar) With your mind, You could Pull people Apart Cell by cell And Pyrokinesis (Lighting Shit of Fire With your mind) Would also be possible By Causing Friction Of Atom’s.

Now In case you are wondering I am Going Strictly From The Standpoint of Being able to lift/effect anything regardless of it’s size.

Now this is a Stretch, I know It’s hard the believe That I would go out on a limb but, If You Could pull apart Cells then it could be possible to reconnect cells.

Some what Healing Your self and others Now This is one of the few things I feel is questionable, Would it be as effective as a straight healing ability or would it be temporary fix?

Now This could also be used for blood cleaning as well , If You could not only know what’s bad and what’s good in the blood but be able to pull the bad out with out hurting the good then you could temporarily fix someone who is being effected by posing, Aliments Or other Blood problems, Now This effect would more then likely be temporary, Simply due to the fact the Root cause would likely remain in the body

This could also be used for removing Organs and Abnormal Growths.

Human Flight/Super-speed :

Well First There are two way’s this can go, Winged Flight Or Wingless Flight.

Now I am Also Gonna Cover a little on Super-speed here Simply cause they both have some of the same problems.

Now Before You say You Couldn’t fly with out wing’s There is a theory that Supports the idea of Wingless flight, The Theory is that if Gravitons(They are thought to make up gravity) Exist and if you could generate Them , In This Case your body creates them, The Theory is you could either Ride Gravitons Like a slipstream or Repel The Gravitons Like Apposing Magnets and That would make you achieve flight!

So There !

Anyways One Of The Problems that links Supersonic Flight to super-speed Is that if you could move that fast Your face would implode and you’d catch on fire Due to friction and Wind Resistance .

So If You could move that fast it wouldn’t be as simple as that.

you would also have to be resistant to fire And Stronger Then Most to combat the wind resistance and So You could move fast which would be The tip of the side effect ability’s.

With Super-speed and Super-flight another problem arises , Obstacles, To Fly or run At such a great speed Obstacles Could result in the deaths of many So You’d Have to be able to course correct Rapidly , Which mean’s you’d have Faster reflexes So you would React Likely at the speed of thought.

Another Thing there is the friction on you feet, Arm’s and Leg’s, You’d Likely be able to Resist The effect’s Of Friction and Inertia and The Other Thing you’d have over come is Cold.

The Higher You go The Colder it get’s So If You were Flying Near Space There would be several Problem’s (Besides knowing where the hell you are), The First is Cold and Heat, The Sun Would beat on your back But You’d be Slightly Heat Resistant so this would pose little threat but there is also Cold, You’d freeze that high up so you have to cold resistant to.

All in all Superman’s many Powers Don’t seem that ridiculous When you take the many thing’s You’d have to over come to have one power.

Now with wing’s It’s a Different Story , You could go fast, Some Bird’s Can Get up to speed’s of 200MPH When going in to a dive so a man sized Hawk could Do Some damage Too .

However Supersonic Flight With wing’s would Likely Not Happen.

Now Stamina Would have to be far greater for Both Winged and Wingless Flight, It would likely be like running, it’d take a lot out of you and Last Thing you or Evolution would want is for you to drop out of the Sky because your Tired.

Now Wing’s would need To be Able to Flap Strong enough to get off the ground, keep you flying or gliding So They’d almost have to be strong and maybe even fast like a hummingbird
So Your Wing’s Would make a good set of fists in a fight.

Now that would be an added Advantage I’d say !

And Back to Course Correction You’d have to be almost Precognitive Or To keep on Theme, Have Spider-sense .

Maybe Even Telescopic Vision In Order to see Thing’s in your way and Correct in time to avoid them.

Now there would almost have to be one more side effect ability’s to Take a beating.

We Human’s Trip When we are walking, Running at the speed of sound Please, I fell out of my chair Writing this, TWICE!

So to think You’d Be given the power to fly/run super fast But You can’t fall would be like giving a Kid a Gun and saying don’t play with it.

So Once again Assuming Evolution and Yourself doesn’t Want you to die You’d likely Be slightly More invincible then Most, cause if you fell at a mile in the sky it’d hurt!

So I feel You’d Be able to Take tumble and live, sadly if you hit anyone they’d be jelly.

Which would be another side effect of super-speed, you could be a mass-murder and No one would know.

Well this is all I have on this subject for now I will likely revisit it and also make a stand alone Super-speed post but for right now this is it.
